Weekend recap

Unfortunately, it is the end of the weekend and the beginning of a new week, but I love being able to look back on all the fun I had via the pictures on my iPhone. That said, here was my weekend in pics!

Great recipe for Spicy Chicken Rigatoni from http://www.href=”http://recipe”>;http://www.candcmarriagefactory.com/2012/03/spicy-chicken-rigatoni.html?m=1. I followed the recipe exactly, but when I make it next time I will only use a half tablespoon of crushed red pepper.

1/11/13 Feel Good Friday

Happy Friday!!!photo

I am so excited that Friday is finally here, it has been a looong week! Since today is Feel Good Friday I was looking forward to getting ready for the day. I have on a brand new shirt, rediscovered jewels, and a huge smile on my face. Most Fridays I will try to share┬árecipes, exercises, deals, or really anything that will us enjoy ourselves on a Friday, but today I thought I would focus more on the attitude we have. I can give you all these great ideas to have a great day, but it wont help if we aren’t in the mindset to make today a great day. That said throw on your favorite shirt, listen to your favorite song, and get excited for today! If that isn’t enough I am going to provide you with the cheesiest jokes I could find, since honestly those are my favorite types of jokes!

  1. What says “oh, oh, oh”? Santa walking backwards
  2. Why did the lion eat the tightrope walker? He wanted to have a well balanced meal
  3. A horse walks into a bar, the bartender says “why the long face?”
  4. What do you call a cow with now legs? Ground beef
  5. What do you call cheese that’s not yours? Nacho Cheese

Alright well that’s enough of that! Have a great Friday!

Good morning everyone!

Last night I tried my first little week day act to show Andrew that I am thankful for him and that I’m happy in our relationship.

Andrew called me when he was on his way home and with that I began cooking some chicken for our salad dinner and preparing a little drink for the both of us. The special part was that I put our drinks in flutes and had them sitting out, so that as soon as he walked in the door, he would see a little surprise. I wasn’t sure if such a little act of changing what I put our drinks in would make a difference, but it did! Andrew’s face lit up, hugged me tight, and thanked me. In my eyes it didn’t seem like I did all that much, but to him it showed that I was thinking about him. This just proves that it may not be the act, but the thought behind the act that can make our loved ones feel appreciated.

Along with that, I just wanted to stick to throwback Thursday and share with you some photos over the past couple years. Hopefully it’ll help you get to know me and my loved ones a little better.
